Big Fish Turkey, which is the only tournament that adopts the " Catch-Release-Live" practice as a principle among the sport fishing tournaments held in Turkey, will take place for the 16th time this year on September 21-24 at Çeşme Marina.
Big Fish Turkey, supported by Anadolu Motor, one of Anadolu Group's companies operating under the automotive umbrella, with its Honda Marine brand, welcomes 50 boats and nearly 300 competitors this year. Adopting the philosophy of "respect for nature and fisheries", Big Fish Turkey aims to raise awareness about catching as much fish as needed and releasing the rest back to the sea with the mission of "Catch-Release-Live".
On the third day of the tournament, Big Fish Turkey also hosted the flag-raising ceremony organized by Anadolu Motor for the 100th anniversary of the Republic. Anadolu Motor celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Republic with great enthusiasm by unfurling the 100th-anniversary flag in the sea with nearly 300 sport fishermen who went out to sea in the morning.
