Another First in Turkey from Anadolu Motor

Anadolu Motor continues its sustainability activities without slowing down in order to protect the environment and reduce its carbon footprint.

As a result of three years of work by the Anadolu Motor R&D Center, the company has made Antor 2 AD 510 single-cylinder diesel engines compatible with the European standard Stage 5 and has also completed its certification work. Thus, Anadolu Motor, the first company in Turkey to have Stage 5 certification in diesel engines, increases fuel savings by 10 percent in Antor 2 AD 510 single-cylinder diesel engines, while reducing toxic gases, pollutants, and CO2 emissions by up to 8 times.

Ranked among the first 5 companies in the world with Stage 5 certification

As a result of three years of work by the Anadolu Motor R&D Center, the emissions produced by diesel engines after combustion have been reduced, making Antor 2 AD 510 single-cylinder diesel engines compatible with the European standard Stage 5.

Anadolu Motor, the first and only manufacturer of single-cylinder diesel engines in Turkey, has completed the Stage 5 certification process for Antor 2 AD 510 single-cylinder diesel engines and has taken its place among the first 5 companies in the world to have Stage 5 certification.

The Stage 5 certificate for the Antor 2 AD 510 single-cylinder diesel engine was presented to Yutkun Tok, General Manager of Anadolu Motor, by TSE President Mahmut Sami Şahin at Turkey's Domestic and National Stage 5 Approval Ceremony. Following the ceremony, discussions were held with TSE officials regarding the process of obtaining the 17025 Accredited Laboratory Certificate. Upon the demand from the sector, it is planned that the accredited test laboratory will also serve the sector after the certificate is obtained.

Anadolu Motor, which has a test facility where STAGE 5 certification studies can be carried out for all engines worldwide, also carries out joint studies with internationally accredited organizations such as TÜV Austria, TÜV Rheinland Luxembourg, and Luxcontrol. The company also continues its efforts to obtain this certification for all engine groups.

"We are proud to have achieved another first in Turkey"

Yutkun Tok, General Manager of Anadolu Motor, made the following evaluations on the subject: "As Anadolu Motor, we have adopted an environment-focused corporate approach in all of the R&D projects we have implemented since the day we were founded. With the new generation Antor 2 AD 510 single-cylinder diesel engines developed by our R&D center to protect the environment, our future, and human health, we have taken another important step towards sustainability. As Anadolu Motor, we are proud to have completed the Stage 5 certification process for Antor 2 AD 510 single-cylinder diesel engines with the capability and power of our R&D engineers and to have broken new ground in Turkey. With this engineering work, we have also succeeded in ranking among the first 5 companies in the world with Stage 5 certification."

Reduces toxic gases up to 8 times

Tok continued his words as follows, "With the Stage 5 compliant Antor 2 AD 510 single cylinder diesel engines we have developed in European standards, we increase fuel savings by 10% while reducing toxic gases, pollutants, and CO2 emissions up to 8 times. Thus, we offer healthy environmental conditions by reducing the release of NOx gases that cause allergic reactions and lung diseases, carbon monoxide (CO) gases that cause low motivation and mental health problems, particulate matter (PM) concentrations that cause cancer, and THC pollutants that cause stress disorders. We aim for the new technology, which will also reduce the oil vapor of the diesel engine, to offer high efficiency to its users for many years."

Ensures performance continuity

"With the Antor 2 AD 510 single-cylinder diesel engine, which is used in many different areas from tillers to water pumps, we provide excellent functionality and performance continuity as well as reducing the carbon footprint of our business partners."
